End of one chapter, on to another! It’s weird to be home on a Monday night at 7:30. Every Monday and Wednesday I would be at CSN Charleston campus sitting in my portraiture class with another hour left before we get to go home. You guys, I graduated College! It still doesn’t feel like I actually graduated yet. Maybe after commencement in May it will feel real. Or at the end of January when I don’t have to go back to school for spring semester. Who knows when it will really hit me but I’m so excited that I graduated! Now that school is out I have time to focus on myself again and my business! After work today, I went to yoga!! If you know me personally you know how much I love hot yoga and this semester has kept me super busy to where I wasn’t able to go very much 🙁 Now my goal is to go as many times as I can during the week! Yay!
I am however sad to see the semester end. I’ve made some great friends within the past few years at CSN. I wish we had the same classes since I started my photography program! These group of girls are the most encouraging girls I’ve met and we all motivate each other to do better. Those kinds of people are the ones you keep close. Just because school may be over doesn’t mean the projects are too. This gives us more time to do even bigger projects and I’m super excited for January to come to start on the first one! So stay tuned and see whats to come next year!
Since I technically graduated I don’t walk in commencement until May. So guess what? I want my own graduation portraits done! Ah!! That sounds so crazy! I’m used to being the one behind the camera!
On Wednesday, all of the students in our portraiture class gathered all of our prints from the semester and displayed them at the Cheyenne campus for all of our friends and family to come and see. We had professional photographers from here in town come and judge our work and also give us some feedback on our prints. About 40 images were chosen from all of them! 4 of my prints were chosen! So now our prints may be displayed at CSN Cheyenne campus in the Telecommunications building! I’ll have to take a trip down there once the semester starts to see if they are up! This may or may not be the end of my college experience, but for the moment I’m excited to be done and see what happens next for myself and my business!
If it wasn’t for this guy right here (Mike, CSN Charleston lab tech) I probably wouldn’t have made it this far. Thanks Mike for being a huge help!!
A few of my prints!
